It's a doozy!</div><div>Named Storms 15 - 18 (normal = 11)</div><div>Hurricanes 10</div><div>Major Hurricanes 5</div><div>Landfalls 7</div><div>Major Landfalls 2 - 3</div><div><br /></div><div>This is not favorable!</div><div><br /></div><div>With this latest info, I'm delaying my 700 mile kayaking into the Keys. I'm an "odds" kind a person, and these odds aren't feeling right to me. I'm still doing the planning, working out, buying equipment, reviewing maps, setting "go to points" in my Garmin Colorado GPS, acquiring additional "top spot" maps, buying additional food stuff that can be boiled in a bag, finding new techniques for cooking, and more. Just started this blog to accompany my website floridakeysimpressions.com<div>I'm in pursuit of planning a 700 mile kayak trip from Sebastian, Fl to Key West and back, going through The Great White Heron Wilderness Refuge. I'll be gone for about 2 and 1/2 months, all by kayak, all camping.
